Hong Kong Jockey Club International BMX Park

The HKJC International BMX Park is situated on the restored Gin Drinkers Bay Landfill, serves as the gaming venue for the East Aaian Games in 2009. The project includes a 300 meters BMX Track, 100 meters practice track, Office-, Canteen-, and Lavatory-Container, with landscape covering area of 39,000 square meter. The project had no room for delay and required the Architect’s intense coordination with owner, Cycling Organization and main contractor. As an architectural assistant my involvement in this project includes design, tender, construction to post-construction. Design work includes façade of the containers (office, canteen and male/female lavatory and storage etc.), interior designs and as well graphic design for the park’s logo, signage, and plaque for the opening ceremony.
